Molly Shakar, BSN, RN, IBCLC, has worked for over 20 years helping new families begin their breastfeeding journeys.

She received her BSN at Florida State University and has been an IBCLC for 12 years since training with the UCLA Extension Program in Lactation Education.

Molly has three grown children and worked for 19 years at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where she was involved with staff education, teaching prenatal breastfeeding classes, facilitating breastfeeding support groups, along with assisting new mothers everyday with their newborns. Her hobbies include scrap-booking and going to the movies.

Molly is also involved with the Gabriel Project, a ministry that helps pregnant women who need a little extra help, through her church.
